Ms. Yorozu frequently advises corporations and their in-house counsel on strategies to achieve thier business goals in the most efficient manner while minimizing legal risk.
Anne C. Lew
Anne Lew is an Attorney with Yorozu Law Group with significant experience in advising corporate clients in their transactions and tax matters. With additional expertise acquired through a Master of Laws degree in Taxation, Ms. Lew counsels corporations on how to structure transactions to minimize the tax effects, reviews tax treaties between countries, advises on tax withholding obligations of corporations in cross-border transactions, works with CPAs to determine how to transfer tangible and intangible assets in the most tax-efficient manner, in addition to advising on other domestic and international tax strategies.
Clara Chun Daniels
Clara Chun Daniels is an Attorney with Yorozu Law Group and heads up the Estate Planning and Administration team. Ms. Daniels designs estate plans, administers trusts and probates estates of varying sizes and complexities. Her combination of legal experience, prior marketing and business development roles in several large international corporations, and fluency in Korean and French enable her to provide clients with additional specialization in multi-national, cross-border trusts and estates issues.

Tomohiro Ono is an experienced intellectual property and commercial disputes and intellectual property transaction attorney. His experience in Japan includes a variety of intellectual property and commercial related matters on behalf of Japanese and non-Japanese clients. Mr. Ono has assisted with numerous litigation in Japan. In patent cases, he excels at fields of IT and telecommunications such as semiconductors and mobile phones. In commercial cases, he has been assisting Japanese companies doing business in foreign countries and foreign companies doing business in Japan.
Kaori Kasai is a Certified Public Accountant with Yorozu Law Group with nearly 20 years of experience in accounting and taxation in the US and Japan. She plays a key role in supporting the attorneys in the tax related matters on the Corporate Transactions, M&A, and Estate Planning, with research and numeric analysis of transactions. She is also assisting business development and accounting department of Yorozu Law Group.
Akané Katayama is a Law Clerk with Yorozu Law Group, supporting all legal practice groups. Ms. Katayama joins Yorozu with legal education and training in an array of practice areas including but not limited to corporate, international, and Intellectual Property law. During her education at Doshisha Law School, she served as an assistant in the European Parliament of European Union in Brussels, Belgium and spent her summers interning at various law firms in Japan. Moreover, while in law school, she was a Teaching Assistant and support organizing a variety of symposiums and legal workshops, as well as assisting in EU law and Comparative Law classes.
Koyo Konishi is a Senior Paralegal with Yorozu Law Group with more than 8 years of experience. He plays a key role in supporting the attorneys in the Corporate Transaction, Employment Law, and Estate Planning and Administration practices by handling the day-to-day communication (in both Japanese and English) with clients and managing technical and logistical tasks.
