Adrienne C. Lipoma is an attorney at Miura & Partners US, with more than 10 years’ experience advising clients on Japan/U.S. cross-border matters. Her practice focuses on corporate, M&A, and technology and media licensing.

Ms. Lipoma holds a J.D. in the United States and a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in International Economic and Business Law in Japan, so she has knowledge of both the U.S. and Japanese legal and business frameworks, enabling her to advise clients with a unique understanding of the laws affecting various parties in cross-border transactions.

Comfortable in Japanese and English, she has led several teams of multinational attorneys and document reviewers in preparing for complex cross-border litigation in fields ranging from pharmaceuticals to manufacturing. Now, she advises clients in a variety of corporate areas including corporate formation, corporate governance, corporate compliance, due diligence, M&A, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. She also has experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating business agreements; organizing and managing trademark portfolios; and creating contract.
